I have been acutely feeling the isolation out here since the end of the Grand Fest. Since my sister and all our grandbabies went home two weeks ago, this place feels like an echo chamber. A quality of my loner lifestyle is that most of the time I thrive by myself. Most days when I am alone I feel far less isolated than I do in the midst of a crowd. Alone, I go where I want and do what I want without the committee sessions that are necessary for a joint effort. Committees... I believe they are proof that none of us can be as stupid as all of us. When the isolation does have a negative impact on me, it hits me like a freight train. I bee feeling like a nickle squashed between the train and the rail.
Most mornings during this experiment, my bee chores have been done by this hour. It is when the bees are calmest. I can work on their grounds without getting in the way of flight paths, etc. At dawn, they are still stretching and having their pollen coffee.
This morning finds me bouncing from Can't to Can't in a rich man's playpen. More of my mental energy is going to the endeavors I left in Bolivia than on the needs in front of me. I have gotten as far as tying back my hair and putting on the swimsuit I wear under my bee suit, but... Those Can'ts keep canning my act... Yesterday's argument with hubs is echoing off every surface.
Sigh...
I have let my music therapy slide in the course of this experiment. Methinks I oughta fix that. The callouses on my chording had are nearly gone.
Ouch.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Do *this*....
That's a lesson I'm trying to teach *me*. (Since I may have no therapist for some time to come).... and I cry a lot doing the thing in front of me because of the nagging sense I should somehow Fix the Past, or Undo or Redo or Finish Doing.... then I get into this whirlwind of panic that I never get anything done (because in that state, I probably don't!)
Be gentle with yourself as you are with the bees. Give yourself a pollen coffee stretch-and-wake. Re-argue th eargument if you want. Sometimes I do that after me and Hubster argue and he's out of the house and it sorta helps sometimes make me hear myself and then it... I dunno... clarifies? Settles? Adjusts? It's an emotional wedgie is what it feels like till it's "unstuck", pardon the image!
Gentle wishes,
Leo
They were so calm this morning that I really didn't need the bee suit.

Remember, friends. This experiment is taking place in a rich man's play pen. Rocking the status quo is more hazardous than rocking the hive. The hay farmer is the rich man's tax shelter.
