Hey all. I'm new to this site. I don't know how to start this off? Kind of hard to spiel into my life my first go at it but I do have PTSD. Good ol dad did like to pound on me a lot and Mrs Clever was an alcoholic. Spent a lot of my life on my own when I could. I don't even know how I found this place!

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

...I seem to be spending my adulthood trying to get over my childhood, which is annoying.
Share what you feel you can and as you can, no pressure here. We understand.
We are all here for many reasons, I can understand yours from similar references in mine. Sit down get comfortable and we will listen as you are able to let it out. You also have a journal at your disposal on the site. Use it. It will help you sort out the feelings and even just vent should somethings really pull on your trigger strings. That's the way I view them..as strings tied to past emotions when a new instance resembles what I felt then. Those strings can pull you into the past by way of flashbacks complete with all the fears and anxiety of that moment...just now in this one. Recognition of that helps you calm again and move on.
You can set the entries in the journal to your own level of privacy, though some feed back may help you sort through the processes.
Gentle hugs,
Jewells.
i too am re-surviving my childhood. this group has helped me so much. they accept my "crazy" cause they get it. great people. i could rave about them on and on.
anyway. its not good you would need a place like this, but since you do that is one of the best.
The only thing you need to know is if you are going to post something that may be triggering to others you flag it with a "Trigger warning" or "TW" so people don't feel ambushed.
Welcome to the forum. May you find much healing support here.
Feel free to spiel whenever you need.
