My dog died today and I can't quit crying. I had her for 8 years...she was my best friend. I want my dog back. I just want her back. I want her back.

I am so sorry. It hurts me big time to lose a pet. Almost bad enough to make me wish I didn't have to out-live them.

I've long said -- and I think it will have special meaning, here -- that I have family members that I'd rather lose than to lose a pet.

May your grief be brief, and may your memories of your sweet puppy be sweet and permanent.

Im so sorry. I had a dear cat for 14 years, and I considered myself a dog person, not a cat person, until we met. He was a stray.

I feel your loss. Keep posting here as you grieve.

I'm so sorry. I've never lost an animal that I didn't bawl my eyes out for days. It hurts. They are our friends. This time when I got the cat, I knew one more time that I would probably outlive her, and I did it anyway. And I'm glad I did. It will take you a while to get over your grief. So sorry about your dog.

    Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard
