I am really upset and concerned to the point it's been interfering with my sleep. I am worried about my job. For the last two weeks I have not been acting like myself and doing stuff that is not in my character to do and now I'm afraid it cost me my job. I have been diagnosed with both ptsd and ocd and last week I think my symptoms escalated. I told my case manager I had the fear or thought I may have done something bad, not that I did it, she reported me to law enforcement and law enforcement showed up at my employer. My job meant everything to me, they said that they had to do an investigation and I have not heard anything back about it yet. I sent an email to hr explaining the course of events. is there any way that I can fight for my job?

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Twenty years ago, when I had my last physical, the medical profession was already reeling so badly from the lawsuit mania in this country that I felt like I was asking lawyers and insurance analysts for medical counsel. It doesn't seem to have gotten any better since then. I am pretty clueless on how to manage a medical career, but. . .

Cry freely here. It is worthy of tears.
"I told my case manager I had the fear or thought I may have done something bad,"
That is a symptom of depression and PTSD...
Is there anyone above her that you can talk to? and explain and even maybe request a change of case worker.
