O.k. some of you know that I have had ptsd for over 20yrs most of it undiagnosed. Thing is back in the day I used to listen to old School Metallica, Megadeth, and Suicidal Tendencies(Wrongly named) I quit a few years ago. Recently I am listening again mostly to Metallica. Ride the Lighting, Master of Puppets, and Kill Them All. Some think this is a step back. What do you think?
It was something you liked then and is holds memories for you like Elton John for me, i was a very depressed suicidal 12 year old listening to Elton John but i still like him.
I mean among all our symptoms of PTSD, there is meaning in our lives still and perhaps we PTSD know the dark side and suffering, but what we feel is very human and very valid even if is not all happy and cheerful.
