Post Partum Depression Support Group
Postpartum depression (also postnatal depression) is a form of major depression which can affect women, and less frequently men, after childbirth. It is widely considered to be treatable. Studies report prevalence rates from 5% to 25%, but methodological differences among the studies make the actual prevalence rate unclear.
I am replying in hopes that if you come back you will see that you are not alone that people are available to help you.
You experienced a traumatic birth and it is completely understandable that you were affected by it. If you haven't already, please reach out to your OB and ask them to connect you with a counselor or a support group to help you get through this. You don't have to continue to live this way. Your family can get through this together and you can get back to where you and your husband were, living happily together, now with your wonderful daughter.
I wish you the best and I hope that things have improved for you. I'm saddened that you reached out and didn't get a timely response.
