Post Partum Depression Support Group
Postpartum depression (also postnatal depression) is a form of major depression which can affect women, and less frequently men, after childbirth. It is widely considered to be treatable. Studies report prevalence rates from 5% to 25%, but methodological differences among the studies make the actual prevalence rate unclear.
I had an early miscarage before my son and it changed me on a profound level. After having my son, the post pardon issues I was having felt so familiar. Though it's not typically recognised, I feel that I had post pardon depression after my miscarage. The hormones mixed with the grief were one of the hardest things I've ever lived though. But with closure time and honest grieving light started peaking through.
Please be patient with your body and yourself. You are worth it.
