Surprising good news YAY

I have finally had something nice happen & totally unexpected too.
I havent been to church for probably a year & stopped going to home group when a friend who used to take me moved o/seas & I dont drive at night.
Last night I got home after a horror day at work & problems with trembles etc & bladder.
I opened up my emails & was astounded.
I had an email from a friend at Church who is helping organise a ladies camp in 2 weeks time saying that someone had paid for me & another lady who is a good friend of mine to go to the camp & the friend to drive me.
WOW that blew me away as it is a lot of money & more so that someone had done something so nice for both of us.
I am going to the 2 night retreat/camp & looking forward to it.
After all the crap I have been putting up with & struggling this is a wonderful blessing. Just had to share it.

How wonderful for you. It will be a welcoming soul cleansing retreat. A time out with friends. Enjoy!!!!

Thanks for your responses. I am not even worried about the gastroscopy I am having on Tuesday or the neuro-psyche assessment I have on Friday too.
Just got messaged that our girls night is this fri & a friend is picking me up.

Well that didnt happen. I ended up in hospital the Monday before for Bowel problems for a few days. Without even asking me we got an email saying that I was no longer going to camp. They didnt even ask me what was wrong or if I felt up to going. I wont print what my response was but my hubby sent an email very strongly worded about how disapointed I was at the decision being made for me without even finding out what was wrong etc.
It had been something I was aiming at even while in hospital so I was very disapointed.
Seems be typical, offer something nice & then pull the rug again. No wonder people doubt the sincerity of a lot of the churches & the people there. We get no assistance from them, only from a few people that I have made friends with but that is only if I phone them & ask/beg. I am in no hurry to go to Church now even if I could as cant drive as smashed the car so it has to go in for repairs (more details in my journal). I have no way to get there now as too far to go by scooter & none of the friends I have made live near me.
Thats life, I need the sleep in & relax anyway.

I am so happy for you. There are many good people in the world, and when we need help most they seem to show up. Have a nice time at the retreat. You deserve it.

I have now got to the point that I am not answering emails from some of the people from Church as they say one thing & do another. I am so sick of them helping some people & not others. They are constantly helping people outside the church & a couple of families who have had cancer to one of them but all I got was 1 card & a couple of phone calls from ladies that I consider friends & always will be even if I dont go to Chruch.
Today I had to go to the hospital to have an eeg (keep blacking out), didnt bother phoning around for a lift but went on scooter & trian which is all very well except it got very hot (30'c) & I got a flat tyre! Managed to get help from road service & got home.
Just one more hassle & expense. Still got to get car repaired from my accident too.
I am very fed up at present.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
