for positive support for people with MS...just positive support....We have enough to be down about so lets help each other up....
HI, I am still struggling withthe Superficial thrombophlebitis which I have in my left leg (blood clot & not as dangerous as dvt).
I went to the coffee that our physio group has after each physio but not allowed to go at the moment. Anyway one of the ladies there told me that they are cleaning out her father in law unit (he is now in a low care hospital facility), they were selling 2 electric recliner chairs that are about 1-2 years old. They are not the lift ones but are really comfortable & the back goes a fair way back as well as the footrest coming out. They originally wanted $500 each which was way out of our reach but as we would take them on Saturday without them advertising or anything they said for $500 for the 2 & I got them for $450 so happy with that. I took photos on my mobile & sent them to hubby & he is happy too. Lucky we got the bonus from the govt this week.
They also have a jason recliner with the handle on the side to recline that they were going to give away so we are taking that. I am very happy with getting them as we have always wanted recliners but could not afford them (they cost heaps new) & by getting the 3rd chair we will have 4 chairs in the lounge. We will give away our lounge suite which is fraying & we have cushions under the seats to make them more comfortable. I am sure this will help someone else too.
Wanted to share something good as I seem to be getting one thing after another at the moment.
There are some nice people out there! I thought it was interesting timing to as I had just sold a walker cheap to a friend (from group) that was David's Mum & then gave her a clothes horse & a couple of shirts this morning too. Shows that what goes around comes around.
Even though I am in pain I am happy tonight!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
The funny part is that we had advertised our lounge suite on a free site & no takers so we put it on our nature stip with a "free to good home" on a piece of cardboard. We were gone for less than 45minutes & when we got home it was gone. Very happy as someone else will obviously use it.
More of what comes around goes around for sure. I have always thought that if you help others in any way at another time you will get help too.
yes, it is funny how things go...we listed a TV for 50 dollars on craig's list and 5 min after I put it up a lady called and came out and bought it....hubb listed his water cooling kit for computer at a cheap price and we still have it LOL!
