Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.

The only way that your scores will affect taking the MTX is for the doctor to consider all the scores together and determine if MTX is helping or effecting the blood work in a negative way.
I have learned that just because scores are in range does not necessarily mean everything is rosy. Too many blood scores that are about to go out of range either high or low is a concern but not alarming. There are things diet wise that may contribute to maintain better scores for liver, kidney, and heart. I was able to lower my LDH by 45 points over three months by diet.

I find that knowing my blood work scores is helpful for me. I can ask questions and work with the doctor on ways to maintain good health. I feel it gives me some control.
