Okay the endocscopy went well. I love the medication that they use to put me to sleep. My swollen stomach is not due to any other problems. According to the Gastroenterologist it is related to the wonder drug that we all know as Prednisone. I am tapering the Prednisone and look forward to not taking it at all, but there is a price to pay as we all know. I am having more leg pain, which is strange in itself as it seems to be moving lower down my legs. Hopefully that is a sign that it will totally exit through my feet soon. I have to have a little humor in this.

I have also noticed with the tapering of the Prednisone, my glucose levels are lower, especially in the mornings. I have waken many mornings with levels too low and have to take in extra sugar. My legs are stronger, but I still walk like Mrs Frankenstein.

I had a call from a recruiter on Friday, who wants to interview me for a position with a better Travel Mgmt company and I am sure that it is an in office position and at first I was having a lot of doubt about it, but then I realized that I can do it. It is a state of mind. I was wondering if I should explain to her my health issues and that I have difficulty walking, but then I realized that there are many handicapped people who hold down normal jobs and that employers can't discriminate against us just because we have health issues, so I am going to call her on Monday and schedule my interview and if it is a good match and God leads me to accept it, I am going to accept the challenge with hope and excitement to be where I belong.
