I haven't really noticed fatigue from imuran, but I definitely noticed it when I was tapering down my prednisone! Sometimes slowing down the taper helps a bit - might be something to check with your doctor about. I totally know what you mean, being exhausted all the time sucks!!

I know what you mean about being tired of being tired. That is one of the most frustrating feelings. I hope if you slow down the taper of prednisone that will help so you start feeling a little more energy.

Thank you for your replies. I had looked up side effects but didn't really see fatigue listed with imuran. My prednsione has been at 10 mg for about 2 months. I figured if it was going to kick in like this then it would've done it sooner. I guess it's just another question to add to the "Ask the Doc" list. There is always something new to add every time I go back for an appointment. Hopefully, I can find some solution.

I hope you do too. It's really hard to be so tired all the time when you know there are things you want to do and things you need to get done. Maybe if your appointment isn't soon you could even call your doctor in the mean time.

Being fatigued comes with the territory--autoimmune disorder. I've had to get used to it, if that's possible. But I do have some better days. Hope you do too!

I know how you feel I also said I am tired of being tired.

I didn't have a lot of luck on imuran it made me very stomach sick. I also had a bad reaction to predisone.

I am taking metotrexate. My CPK leves have dropped from 5800 to 4400 in three months and my streangh is slowly coming back. I recently spent two days refinishing my cupboards.
