My mom was diagnosed with PM a couple years ago. In January she was diagnosed with ILD and put on oxygen. I was curious as to what it was so I started searching the internet. That was a mistake. Everything I found on it made it sound like a death sentence. I'm so scared my mom's gonna eventually suffocate and die. Is ILD always progressive even with treatment? If they can find a treatment that works will it affect her life expectancy? I'm so worried about it. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
