Hi ladies,
I have need to ask for advice.
I have stage 4 Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and have had 4 surgeries in 14 months for the above.
I'm not better by any means and I had an ultrasound a week ago which showed ovarian cysts the largest being 5cms. Now my doctor is claiming this is normal. What exactly is NORMAL? I havn't seen the ultrasound to give you an idea. But I know there's more than one (as both the tech and doctor said you have ovarian cysts in your ovaries), how many again, not sure was never told. I'm not saying his wrong, I'm sure he is right. But I don't have a clue about the ovaries so I thought you ladies might be able to give me an insight? He is telling me it's apart of my ovulation?
Alot of symptoms mimic Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, so if you want symptoms I experience, they'd be pointless almost since I have the other two also.
I am having a feeling though of intense front and back pain which is NEW to me, legs burnings including intense top leg pain. I feel liek someone is trying to rip on my ovaries =S
I usually get stabbing throbbing pains there that is not unusual.
I have previously had cysts on my tubes and one on my Right Femoral Atery.
Ideas, thoughts?

All doctors are different, but most will monitor a cysts to see if they go away on their own. If they don't they MAY decide to operate depending on the size (if your 5cm one continues to grow they may want to remove it,) and/or if it causes you discomfort.
It's very common for women to get at least one cyst. My mom has had several, but she doesn't have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome like I do. She is a normal healthy person. They are probably follicular cysts which would explain your doctor not being too worried. I would just make sure to check back in to monitor the size of your cyst/s.
