I'm not taking anything right now and trust me, it's not worth it. I'm miserable. I feel terrible all of the time. I barely have an appetite and it is so hard for me to eat and still feel ok. I am up to 190lbs and just keep gaining. I don't eat refined carbs or sugar unless its coming from fruit. The hair on my body seems to be worstening as well. Unless your doc told you not to take any meds, I would seek treatment. I have a world of other problems and I thought not taking meds would help me feel better but it is quite the opposite.

From the day I was diagnosed with PCOS, I have not used any medications. I was sent to a nutritionist who showed me how to properly eat with PCOS. Walking a few times a week and with the diet change, I lost 30 lbs. And to this day, I still don't have to take medication. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I was diagnosed with PCOS 2-3 years ago. Was told it was not a problem except that it caused irregular periods and that I might have trouble conceiving. I started working out hardcore, to get rid of the extra pudge in my belly and didn't lose weight or feel better. I finally found some answers -without the help of doctors- and changing my diet improved everything. I have never felt better in my life! But I am not advocating no medication. What works for another, might not work for you.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
