PCOS JOURNALISM PROJECT

Hi Ladies!


 

I'm a fourth year student at The New School in NYC. I'm conducting a series of interviews for a jounalism project on PCOS. After recently being diagnosed, I left the doctor with many unaswered questions and frustration! 

 

I am hoping to reach out women with PCOS, preferably in the NYC area, and experts on the subject.  Would anyone be interested in participating in an interview session? Or have any suggestions?

I'm recently diagnosed and a journalism student myself so I'm interested. The only problem is I'm in Arizona. Let me know if it would work by phone or if you need in-person interviews. Thanks for doing this!

This is a great way to get some answers you need. I was diagnosed in 2010 and recently went to see an OBGYN that specializes in PCOS and she was able to answer so many questions my primary care doctor was not. I found out I needed a stronger version of my Metformin, I needed to change my diet, and that I was allowed to drink while taking my meds (which is not what my primary care doctor told me lol). After finding out this information I started doing my own research and learned a lot of things I can do to manage my symptoms. Im in GA, but would be willing to do an interview on the phone if you like. Good luck!!!!
