Long story short, my doctor has switched my birth control from tricyclen-lo to regular tricyclen in the hopes it balances out my cycles again. He also suggested I could try an IUD such as Mirena if I'd rather not take the pills. So, I'm wondering if any of you have used an IUD and could give me some more info based on your experiences? Did it have an effect on the PCOS? I'm just concerned that there will be issues with side effects and I'll end up spending all this money on something that may not be right for me. It's a big decision, and I trust real people over the info printed out on the pamphlets designed to sell the product! Thanks for any input!
