hello, I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 18. I had issues with my periods when I was younger. After I got married I gained 50lbs, I now have issues with excess hair growth. I don't know anyone who has it. The hair growth sucks and I have had weight issues for years. :-/ :-(

Hi! I've gain almost 100lbs since being diagnosed in 2013.. but I've know there was something wrong since puberty. I can grow my facial hair then my brother... I've been with my husband for almost 5 yrs now. Married 5months and I never let him touch my face although I know he can see the hairs that I miss we never talk about it. It has been a major insecurity for me for years now...

I completely understand, I am 46 years old and have had it since I was a teenager.
The condition you speak of is called hirsutism. (Google search would be "male pattern facial hair in women".
It is very common with PCOS as well as Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS).
HS is like really bad reoccurring pimples or boils in sensitive areas (underarms, groin, bottom, skin to skin contact)

Thank you so much for the comments. I found out 6months into my marriage I have pcos. I knew I had issues when I was younger and had bad periods. I gained 50lbs in about 6months and had issues losing it. My face is so bad from taking care of the hair on the daily basis. It sucks :-(
