I don't have access to a microwave, so my go-to meal is salad. To stop it from getting watery, I use whole grape/cherry tomatoes instead of a chopped up larger one. Not a fan of carrots or cucumbers, so I replace those with a medium sized apple and a handful of nuts or seeds - once in a while I'll switch this with quinoa. For protein I'll use 1/2 cup or so of chopped-up leftovers from last night's dinner: chicken breast, turkey sausages, etc. I keep the dressing in a separate container.
I normally eat every 3 hours, but this thing keeps me going for 5-6.
My snacks during the day include cut up veggies ( cucumber, bell peppers, carrots, cherry tomatoes) and hummus. I also do greek yogurt.
I hope this helps. I know I feel better when I pack my lunches and snacks for the day.
Have a great day.
