Hi all, I have posted here before about the signs and symptoms of PCOS after finding a cyst on my tubes in my first surgery. Now you were all VERY helpful but I just want to update you on whats been going on since..I need your help again!
I had surgery #2 for endometriosis in July which showed my endo worsened alot. I was also diagnsoed with mild IBS. So my list keeps growing!
Now, Since surgery #1 I am having increased pain, then I have surgery #2 and my pain has increased badly. I cannot do exercise as my pain leaves me unable to walk for 2 days.
I am having surgery #3 in Jan also.
Ok so my pain is my uterus/vagina and my ovaries, the pain radiated through my back and down my legs and I am even getting flashes like my pelvic area + legs are on fire.
I ahve pulling sensations with my ovaries and stabbing pains, unbeliavable stabbing pains, these mains can mean I wont walk for days. I am having horrible uterus and vagina pains these were all normal pains for me before surgery #1 and have intensified. However no ovarian pain really before surgery #1 now all my pain is just unbearable! I find period time to be 10 fold.
My menstural cycle - irregular to the high heavens, it'll either come 7 weeks late and I'll miss months, or it'll come so early i'll get it twice a month (tends to like to mix itself up!). I also bleed profusely which had caused anemia.
Types of birth control I've been on,
Numerous OCP's
Progesterone tablets,
Depo provera,
Natural suppliments,
I bleed all I do is bleed bleed bleed, depo did help though but gave me osteoporosis. I now can take Lupron (or the australian equiv. due to osteoporosis) and they refuse to impant anything due to my constant bleeding on everything thus far. I started my period at 9 years old.
I heard PCO's can come anytime in a woman's reproductive years, but I'm just wondering if any of this sounds familiar to you? It would very well just be my endo taking over more but thought I'd ask.

I started my period at 9 as well. Was diagnosed with PCOS at 11. Kinda early to be diagnosed, but I guess I "got lucky". I've been on birth control since (12 years). Haven't had any problems with endometriosis, although my periods can last up to a month and happen every 2 weeks usually, even while on BC.
What I haven't had is severe pain. Now, because I've been on BC since I was young I dont have many cysts. You may have problems with lots of cysts. I know that they can be very painful. When it comes to the endometriosis, I really can't help ya cause I don't know much about it.

I just purchased a OPK to make sure everything is still functioning ok :)
I've never had problems with cysts in my ovaries before, just on my tubes. So I'm not sure what could be going on.
