You can be put on birth control to regulate your periods. I have been taking Provera which is a progesterone. I take it every 90 days for 10 days.
I have had irregular periods since I started at 12.
When I had an ultrasound my ovaries were filled with tiny cysts; about 20 in each. Mine was due to the fluid that turns into the egg. The LH hormone isn't there to help it along. So the fluid hardens and turns into cysts thus no ovulation.
I would get more testing done to see if thyroid or hormones or diabetes is causing ur PCOS. So u have a better sence of what is going on in your body.
I was diagnosed today with HPV. I'm quite scared. And I just added to the group on here. I would love some advice.
If u have more questions message me. Ill answer the best I can.
