I have had pcos since 2003, and lived most of those years completely miserable. I had my miracle baby in 2008 after 5 years of no period. My doctors were shocked but I felt very blessed. After he was born my symptoms seem to go away for a while, I tried several different birth controls all of which left me miserable. After a miscarriage of twins in 2009 we decided my husband should get a vasectomy. From then on I only had a period maybe twice a year, I gained over 150 lbs and I was miserable. Metformin made me soo sick, my blood sugars would drop into the 30's, I would get dizzy and nauseous, I had hair growing places it shouldn't be, meanwhile the hair on my head came out in handfuls. My skin was awful, I stayed sick with sinus infections, no energy, all I ever wanted to do was sleep. My poor husband was so supportive, sex was the last thing on my mind, I think we were having sex like 5 times a year. I tried so many different ways to lose weight because I knew if I lost a few pounds it would help, I spent a year going to the gym 5 days a week, eating as clean as possible but instead of losing weight, I gained another 10 lbs. At this point I was trying every diet product possible, anything you could buy in the store, meal replacements, you name it I was trying it. I spent so much money it was ridiculous. I finally gave up on all that junk and just put the pcos out of my mind and lived each day exhausted, napping in between taking care of my kids, barely having the energy to go to work, living off candy bars and soda. In December 2013 I decided enough was enough, I couldn't take it anymore so I started researching different supplements that help with pcos. On January 1, 2014 I came across a family member's new years resolution post and as I was reading through the comments I saw a post about this line of supplements, it was geared towards getting the body healthy from the inside out, leveling blood sugars and getting the gut healthy, I had heard a little about probiotics but didn't really know much. So I asked the lady about the products and started researching them and every ingredient. I was surprised at what I learned and how so many illnesses, including pcos were related to an overgrowth of bad bacteria in the body. She told me the products had a guarantee and that if I didn't see any results I could get a refund, so I thought what the heck, I talked them over with my husband and he said you've already spent tons of money on other stuff you might as well. So I bought the products, I was in complete shock after 3 days I woke up and was no longer in pain, usually when I would get out of bed in the morning I would hurt so bad I would almost be in tears, here I was 3 days on these supplements and I wasn't hurting. Fast forward 18 months and all my pcos symptoms are gone, my period comes every month and it's not painful or heavy, I have energy everyday, I feel great, sex is awesome again, my blood work is perfect, my ovaries are no longer looking like chocolate chip cookies as the ultrasound techs would call them and I've lost 118 lbs. I still have a ways to go in my weightloss but I want everyone to know that their is hope. You don't have to suffer in the hell that is pcos, find supplements that work for you, it doesn't have to be metformin and birth control. I love sharing my journey with others to let them know they are not alone and there are ways to get relief from this crazy illness. Sometimes we have to think outside the box and take risks because the rewards can be astronomical, I truly feel like I owe my life to these products because before them I had no life and was on a deep dark path of self destruction. Peace, Love, and Good health to all
