I first heard of Weight Watchers from a friend that lost over 100 lbs on it. My great aunt lost at least 75 lbs on it as well. My sister struggles a lot with her weight because of her PCOS and has tried it and gotten good results. If you stay on it and stick to it, it gives great results. Also, some people have luck with going on diabetic diets, balancing so many carbs with so many proteins.
Another thing that has helped with my weight loss is yoga, which has been hard for me to do lately due to a lot of health problems that are causing me pain right now. Also, walking helps get some extra pounds off, and I usually do that as well.
My sister, who had been trying to have a baby for 2 years straight, found out she was pregnant last year. She now has a beautiful healthy baby girl, who despite being born prematurely is now 6 months old and doing great. She found out she has PCOS, and her doctors just recently gave her the diagnosis. She was put on metformin shortly before she got pregnant and was finally getting periods (she said she only had a couple a year before that, actually). My sister was told it can help regulate you and help you ovulate with time.
I hope everything works out for you and that you find a good doctor.
