I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 I'm now 19. I didn't really deal with people commenting on the facial hair or my deep voice (except 1 time in elementary) until I started getting out into the real world with my first customer service job. I've been called sir even though they can see I clearly have boobs and long hair. And on 2 occasions I have been pulled aside to ask if I was born male. I really let it bother me in the beginning, but now I just try to block it out when I know it still hurts. I wear tons of makeup to try to hide my razor scars on my face and nothing seems to work it just makes me feel like I try so hard to hide this condition and everyone can still see right through it. I just want to feel feminine and like a girl. It really brings my confidence down and my will to want to try to look "pretty" I fall in and out of depression all the time and have a constant eating disorder (not eating then binging and taking laxatives 20 at a time) I just feel like this condition is making me someone who I don't want to be. Just need some advice or someone to tell me I'm not alone in feeling these things. Thank you to anyone who listens.
