hair loss and acne

Hi everybody i hope u can help me with this and give me some advice plz...OK so lately i have been loosing my hair a lot more than before...i noticed it usually falls out a lot more when its wet...so when I'm in the shower i wont even pull on it or anything and it will just come off...its been getting worse and its really getting to me. before the pcos my head was full of nice somewhat thick hair...but now its weak and thin and it falls out anytime i try to touch it. its really getting to me and i don't know what to do...i was gonna get rogaine for women but when i looked at the box it said not to use it unless i actually see bald parts. i think in a few yrs i probably will be next to bald the way I'm going. and another problem is my acne...i mostly have developed it around my jaw line or cheeks, any advice that would help me would be great and id surely appreciate it.

as far as the hair issue.... I don't really know what to tell you. I grow hair in places I shouldn't, so i guess I'm the opposite. try to eat food with the vitamins that help promote hair growth.

as for the acne, that could come from you resting your hand on your face unconsciously. make sure you wash with mild face cleanser, a mild astringent, and moisturize! Even oily skin needs moisture. Try to be mindful of when you touch your face... and drinking more water will help too. good luck..

is your hair dry or maybe you wash it too often . . .that was my problem . . for acne i wash my face once a day and use witch hazel as an astringent before I go to sleep. Avoid touching your face and dont pick your pimples! Also, try using fote aloe vera gel as a moisturizer or primer.

i havent had any of those problems........but i would try Prenatal Vitamins ......makes ya hair grow and your nails.....Good luck!!!!!!

i take a shower everyday but i dnt wash my hair all d time...maybe like 4 times a week. n where can i buy those vitamins??

pcos is the gift that just keeps giving *sigh* both hair loss and hair growth in unwanted places are typical symptoms because of the androgen imbalance. for excess hair growth your doctor may suggest spirnolactone but only if you're not TTC. for hair loss rogaine FOAM is considered a good over-the-counter option (see folica.com about the benefits of rogaine foam over rogaine for women). there are plenty of other treatments that see varied degrees of success: the nioxin haircare treatment line, laser brushes/combs, crinagen and other copper peptide treatments, vitamins - many companies offer hair specific vitamin complexes that you can find at any chemist/pharmacy - the Phytophanere supplement by Phyto is considered one of the best. i think it's overpriced but it's a good combination. if you want to go with a vitamin complex you should check out the ingredients list and find something that has a similar combination for less money.
