Hi I'm new here ^_^ my name is Martha and ill be 20 next month. I have pcos like many of u gals(found out 2years ago). Well I have a question, for a year now ive had these Type of "movements" kinda like twitches in my abdomen like right under my belly button.they don't hurt at all, but It just worries me cause I don't know what it is. Does anybody else experience this too?

yes, I experience this too. When I was trying to get pregnant I always convinced myself that I was (because of these movements), but that was really unrelastic of me. Anyway, I've never known what the feeling is or if it's even related to PCOS. My doc can't really pinpoit it either and what we've come to is that there doesn't seem to be anything negative associated with it so I've just learned to ignore it. I know this doesn't give you and "answer" but hope it helps you to not worry too much. Of course, check with your doctor as well.

I recently had this sort of experience. There were twinges right below my navel and periodically it would feel like someone was pulling a string through my belly button. I recall feeling something like this a long time ago, but I don't know what its caused from.

I was diagnosed with pcos about a year ago. i struggle daily with the effects of pcos...I have had the same feelings in my abdomen, I thought I was going crazy...i really thought i was pregnant a few times, like i was really that far along and i felt something inside of me!! I also have sharp pains lower on my abdomen throughout the month. does anyone else? hang in there ladies

I have those twitches too and sometimes in other areas of my abdomen but, I don't know what they are either. I just assumed that they were some sort of muscle spasm.

For a long time I wondered the same thing...U aren't crazy I have them as well..I always thought it was my ovaries trying to decide if they wanted to release an egg....I did have a doctor tell me that with PCOS ur body will "act like its about to have a cycle" and it doesn't-so thats why I will experience bloating and mood swings etc

im wonder if the twinges are small cysts popping cuz our eggs turn into cysts i as well deal with this symptom i chalk it up to gas or tiny cysts popping

WoW i have had this many times and often ran to the store to see if my hope was confermed lol. I didnt even think to relate it to PCOS. It is a very weird feeling and i have it all the time. I have just been thinking it was a gas bubble or something. HMMM. thanks for posting your question. Its amazing how many things you experiance with PCOS and dont even realize your not the only one having it. :)
