there are many places that provide info about pcos esp.lly since its becoming more common in women. if birth control pills arent working to regulate ur periods you can ask your doc about taking provera or metformin. i'm not sure what other drugs are available. the emotions may be coming from ur horomones being unbalanced.
hopefully this helps best wishes!
In addition to any prescribed meds, you may want to look at diet. I've discovered that staying far away from any white flour, sugar, or other simple carbs will be a great help. I just joined, too. Hopefully I'll talk to you again!
than you both for your messages. My dr doesnt seem to be that bothered so i have asked to see someone else as i just feel like my dr is scared to even talk about it.
I try my best to eat healthy....however i do admit to having bad days and eating junk=( i eat plenty of fresh veg as we grow it in our garden and fruit never lasts long in our house as its the first thing everyone eats....but still no luck. I have been tole to look at the GI diet so fingers crossed.
i think my emotions are just one big rollercoaster. I babysat today for a friend and just wanted to hold her little girl and cry at the thought of never having my own. yet other days i take such pleasure in looking after her.
