I LIVE IN RHODE ISLAND- I AM LOOKING FOR A SPECIALIST FOR PCOS- I KNOW IN BIGGER CITIES THEY HAVE SPECIALIST AND I AM WILLING TO TRAVEL WHEREVER TO GET AN ANSWER!!!!!! ANYONE KNOW OF ANY? ANYONE GO TO ONE AND GET APPROPRIATE TREATMENT?

I go to an endrocronologist and he has helped me out greatly. I am on 1000 mg. of metformin and it has done wonders for me so far.....I have only been on metformin for 14 days started out on 500mg and now I am on 1000mg and it has worked really well for me....I am on the extended release kind. I have lost 10 pounds so far on this, low carb diet, and working out. Good luck....look into finding an endrocronologist. Take care. Denise
