Dont feel bad, how you feel is normal. I know how you feel 100%
Inevitably, guilt follows. You can have these same personal thoughts, just dont show them to anyone who may mistake them as hatred.
Here, you have no problem, cause Im right there with ya!
We have been trying to get pregnant for 4 years now and out of the blue both my sister and sister in law get pregnante back to back with out even trying! I was of couse happy for them but when they both called to tell me the news I got off the phone and started balling!!! And when I was done I felt so bad for feeling this way, I mean they are my sisters! But you cant help it, when you want something so much and you try so hard for it, I guess you cant help but to feel upset.
But I will tell you somthing. If I hear from one more person that it will happen just give it time, I might go crazy! They just dont know how hard it is, and what a toll it take on you emotionally, and physically!
But I don't think you are selfish for being jealous. I think that only people who go through what we go through can understand. And while some women will take their children for granted, our struggles will make us appreciate and love our children so much more.
You obviously want children of your own or are upset that you are not able to have your own.
It kind of bothers me when people say that someone is selfish for wanting children, I say that the person who calls others selfish is just jealous.. either way, none of those sayings make much sense.
If you are not able to conceive on your own perhaps you could try sergotacy (sp?) or adoption.
Helping them with any problem they might have, that's what makes you stronger as well.
Try being persistant as hell, if they deny you give it a few weeks afterwards then apply again & again, each time making the time shorter and shorter.. Eventually you'll get through to them, persistance will tell them that you want a child that badly.
Even if you come off sounding desparate, they'll get it through their thicks heads ;)
Good Luck
my Boyfriends sister has just told us she is pregnant and me being jelouse got every upset but i have now stopped talking to her but the reason i have stopped talking to her is she drinks, smokes and does drugs! i hate people that do this and it makes me so angry when people dont take pregnancy seriously when there are people who would do anything to be pregnant so no your not selfish im jelous of all my friends with children
