I just wanted tell you that, in my case, we did not get follicles until we went to injection drugs - which was a very scary step to me at the time. It's more expensive and the risks are higher, but it worked for us. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
I hope the Clomid works for you, but if it doesn't - there is still hope.
It is really expensive (for the injection drugs) and you have to have a lot of blood tests and US to make sure you are not being "over stimulated" The first round for me caused my cycle to be cut virtually in half, my body produced a lot of follicles in a really short time. The second round they had me take a lower dosage and gradually increase. Eventually I was injecting for the first 10 days of my cycle.
There really is hope!
They upped my dosage to 100mg and did the follow-up appointments and ultrasounds. There was a follicle the second time around.
You are at the very beginning of this journey (though I hope it is a short one for you) do not worry if the first dosage of clomid doesn't work because there are still plenty of options for you.
Good Luck!!
