My mum did home peritoneal dialysis, for a while she did day treatments, and then she got a night-time machine which she hooked up to for dialysis while she slept.

Hello, my name is Jackie, I received an kidney transplant on March 21st 2017.
I did my dialysis treatment while I slept at home.,it was a peritoneal dialysis. That was the only way I was able to do it ..My body couldn't take the Hemo at the clinic I was getting fluid build up in my stomach every week.. I don't know if any of you ever heard of that.. When you get a lot of fluid in your stomach it is like you are pregnant and you can't breathe and they have to take a needle and pull the fluid out. So I had to do the PD at home.
