Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Support Group
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
There are a few quick things you can do to solve your problems.
1. Download and run the portable version of SuperAntiSpyware, its free. http://www.superantispyware.com/ or Google SAS antivirus.
Once you start it scanning it will take quite a while. Depending on your computer it may run for a few hours. Once it is done scanning you will have to click another button to have it clean what it finds.
2. Reset Internet Explorer. Just a heads up on this, it will reset everything about IE. It wont lose your favorites, but it will reset your home page, history, and youll have to reenter any usernames and passwords you may have remembered for various websites.
To do this click Internet Options from the tools menu. Depending on what version of IE you are using the tools menu may appear as a little gear icon near the upper right.
From there select the Advanced tab and click the Reset button. I believe there are a couple more items you have to click, but it should be fairly straight forward.
To reset your home page just browse to the desired website and click Use Current on the General tab of Internet options.
3. Use multiple browsers. I use IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Just think of it as having multiple cars to drive. Sometimes one is more comfortable to use.
Hope this helps.
whatever, I don't like it and hope it stops.
seems DS is prone to any bugs out there.
I am not a "googler" because I don't like the way it tries to take over my computer. now they are planning to scan emails. I am not a paranoid person, nor am I a terrorist, I just want to maintain a small amount of privacy, Lord knows there is little of that left. Yahoo! has served my search need well for a long time and I believe is less intrusive in my life.
