Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
Frustration--that is what the insurance companies use to keep from paying claims and any type of disability.
Hang in there and just keep telling them how you feel.
It's bad enough for you having to live with this constant pain without them trying to make you think that you should be back at work. My GP is completely the opposite and does not think I should be returning to work at anytime in the future. He has been harping on like this for the last 3 years and I have took no notice. Now I am on long term sick and am not in a position to reurn , maybe not for a long while yet but I know he will support me in this. I would be no use to anyone and would think that you too would be the same. What is wrong with them- I wish I could help. Julie x
