Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.

It's school holidays, so I have less time to myself to post! We had a family holiday away last week, and my husband is at home this week, too. I will have more time to contribute after 6th September, but will try to stay in touch in the meantime as much as I can.
