Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Support Group
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
I am at my wits end. I have tried everything to get rid of these kidney stones. I have been told they form as a byproduct of my PKD.
My body just keeps making them. I have a ton!!
I am the only person in my family with kidney stones.
Recently found out some cousins have pkd but have not connected.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get my body to stop making the kidney stones.
I drink adequate water, watch my food intake of the foods suspected of promoting stone formation - I haven't eaten them for a couple years - I take recommended supplements, drink lemon, eat cranberries....anything that has worked for anyone?
