Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Support Group
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
'roids are a very common problem, usually caused by our refined diets, not enough fiber, fruits and veggies, eating things that are easy.
while people with PKD may be prone to these problems it could be due to the way we eat as we near kidney failure, lowering our intake of the foods that are good for us. it could also be due to our being in a hurry in the bathroom.
but then again, you may have a good point. I'll bet Ruth, if she is up to answering, might expand.
These aren't the normal kind you think about when you hear that word. These are internal, way up inside the colon. And that's why I was saying that I don't have the problems such as you've mentioned. I actually love veggies and eat them a lot, have salads all the time at work for lunch, have to force myself not to eat so much because of the potassium and the phosphorous. I'm not in a hurry in the bathroom, and I don't strain because I never have constipation; it's always the opposite problem with me.
So that's why I thought maybe it was due to the PKD?

These 2 symptoms are listed under PKD complications.
I don't know too much about Crohn's disease if they too can produce bleeding internal hemorroids. Let us know when you have results. I don't suffer from this. Hopefully someone can help you more than I. Hope there is something you can do to clear it up.
