Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
What happens if someone forgets to take their meds? Will their blood pressure skyrocket?
Is your blood pressure controlled throughout the day and night? I mean, if you take it right when you wake up, how high is your blood pressure before you take it or the night before?

Calcium channel blocker relaxes the blood vessels and is good for kidneys.
I am on low salt diet, drink plenty of water, get regular exercise and my BP is controlled.
Talk to your nephrologist as to whether or not "you need meds".
