Good grief everyone, I have just undergone the worst surgery of my life, seems that way! Hernia surgery with complications up the yingyang! What began as 3 hernias ended up with 10 incisions and illeus of the bowel, you don't even want to know what that involved but it is caused from the surgeon touching the intestines!!! Ohhh my God! It was awful! I am 2-1/2 weeks post op and just getting back on my feet! Sort of anyway, am able to sit up and type now so I am definitely on the road back and I was beginning to wonder. So that is over and done with! A funny thing, if there is a funny thing in all of this, is that I raised holy hell in the hospital about taking my drops and by God, they made sure I got them, along with Jim prodding them along. When I left the hospital, creatinine was 1.6 which is a wee bit higher than when I went in but of course didn't get the drops while I was in intensive care, so lucky for me I ended up unharmed.
