Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.
what a shame we have to fight for our rights in a hospital and from what my nephrologist things are going to get worse as they cookie cut our treatments.
I had to fight throughout dialysis to preven staff from drying me out because "dialysis patients need fluid removal" regardless of how much urine they produce.
