it isn't just you, this person (or persons) could be reported but so far nothing has been so egregious that I felt it was reportable.
there is some merit to alternative medicines but they can also be dangerous to someone with impaired kidney function.

I've been watching this too guys, and so far nothing being done that is reportable. I think it's just a matter of not being able to speak English very well, but of course I too am watching carefully...

I find it hard because we get those questions and comments all the time from well meaning friends and each time have to explain that PKD is different and herbal medications, when not properly filtered through the kidneys, can be toxic, and still no one gets it and we get a lot of 'but, but, but' sounding conversations. to come here and hear it too is unfortunate, but as others have said, not to the degree that it seems reportable. just highlights the need for better awareness and understanding of PKD I guess...

just a warning all, beware of untested "cures" that may do more harm to your kidneys than any help they may give.

It's annoying to see these messages appear, but the names of those rsponsible have become familiar now, so I don't bother to read those posts.

I have used the "Ignore User" function for two posters so I no longer see their posts - saves me from getting wound up every time I read them.

Well, you learn something every day! Three years of membership and I've never noticed the ignore user function. When I finally found it I discovered that I had three people in there, but have no idea how they arrived there. I must apologise to those concerned for ignoring you. I thought I was just missing some posts for some reason! That's perpetual tiredness for you. It affects brain function quite significantly at times. Thank you to Nannyuk for enlightening me.
