Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a progressive, genetic disorder of the kidneys. It occurs in humans and other organisms. PKD is characterised by the presence of multiple cysts (polycystic) in both kidneys. The disease can also damage the liver, pancreas and rarely the heart and brain.

Larry, I know if Ruth was here, she would tell you exactly what to do but she is very ill herself. Just the mere fact that you can find Daily Strength says volumes about your recovery. I am sure, knowing you, that you will be right back where you were before the stroke! Be patient with yourself and do what the docs say to do. Remember we all love you here on DS!
