Hello everyone, all of you that are my family. My husband is going to make it, not only is he going to make it, he is going to be well. They took him off the ventilator two days ago. It was touch and go for a few hours, but he made it. At this time tonight as I left him, he smiled at his nurse named Michelle and thanked her for helping him!! This is HUGE! All of his labs and chemistry are good, he is not in kidney failure as they predicted would happen. His gut is working and he is producing stool, yuk, but an important part of LIFE! He truly is a miracle man because 90% of people do not make it after a burst anuersym, let along everything else that he has gone through. Needless to say, I am happy as a clam tonight. He put his arm up around my shoulder as I leaned over him and pulled me towards him...then he wanted to kiss me but he couldn't because of the NG tube, so I gave him the kiss of his life! I climbed in his bed and layed next to him, he put his head on my shoulder and relaxed, the figiting and tossing and turning stopped. He finally realaxed. I knew that they had a camera on him, but I didn't care, I just held him in my arms and loved him. He looked at me with such love that I have never experienced before in my life. This man is a true miracle of life because he wanted to live and he has done it. The doctor's are amazed. I asked them today as we had a family meeting, "what, why and how did Jim live through all of this." they told me it was his determination and the family support that he received. Little did we all know how important this really is. But it was a natural event for us all to do it. My son Jimmy walked into his room today, Jim looked at him with his eyes open for the very first time and focusing. He smiled at his son...

ok guys, I'am done for now. Just wanted you all to know that he is going to live, and he's going to live a productive life because thats what Jim Meagher (Mar) is all about. Life, living, being the best person that you possible can be. Always helping others and now he has finally gotten his payback. I should be so privilaged to be married to such a wonderful man. We all should learn a lesson from this, I'am not entirely sure what it is, but I think it's something to do with love, faith, and finally trust in that which we believe in. I have seen the miracle of life happen before my very eyes and it wasn't giving birth to one of my beautiful children, it was seeing the gift of life given to me, yet once again in the form of my wonderful husband.
