Hi Everyone,
I am a 55 year old female. I was diagnosed with a prolactinoma when I was approximately 33 yrs old. I had a cat scan which showed a tumor 10 mm in size. I took bromocriptine for approxmiately 30 years and stopped taking it 3 years ago. My enocrinologist had me stop the medication and I had an MRI a year ago which did not show a tumor. When I had a visualy field in November of 2009, my eye doctor had some concern about the visual field results but not enough for me to have any further testing. My question is? Can a pituitary tumor go away? Should I continue to have MRI's and my prolactin level checked. My prolactin level wa 23.4 w hen I had it teted in February of 2009.

Wow, hearing about yu being on BROMOCRIOTINE for 30 years baffles me. I've been taking it for almost two years and my mood is so off around the time of my menstral cycle. I hope your doing well.
