Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
But someone who "loves" you, DON"T do those things.
Someone who loved you wouldn't do those things so it's not love.
Begin to face the truth, detach and make a plan to leave.
I'm so sorry, the longer you stay the worse it will get.
I would dump this person, take some serious time-out in healing myself, physically and mentally (get your BP and blood sugars tested as soon as possible) and then move on. You're worth far more that what you're receiving.
Good luck
The people who do this
perceive that they were
shortchanged or abused
earlier in their life. (Some
of them actually were.) So
to even the score (since they
weren't able to do it when they
were in the powerless position),
they're going to even the score
by returning the abuse to someone
they perceive as being less powerful
than they are.
(If they were one of the ones who were
abused or shortchanged earlier in their
life, it still doesn't give them a pass
to abuse.)
Once they find a victim, they will continue
to abuse, as long as the victim remains
under their control.
No. It is not love.
Love supports and lifts.
Vengence assaults and cuts down.
Your several posts, panda, suggest
that you know you're being abused
but still don't quite believe it, or don't
want to believe it.
When you reach the next step of accepting
that that's who she is, and that the only way
she'll change is to get worse, then you'll be
able to move your life away from the abuser
and towards peace and happiness.
Self-care is always a great thing to do.
Do, please, take good care of yourself.
