Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
I am very hurt. I am dealing with a very jealous man. He is always accusing me of cheating and sneaking around on him at work. He doesn't give me a chance to explain issues that he misunderstands. He is always pointing out every mistake i make. So now he started texting his ex wife, not telling me about it and I see the number on his phone and freaked. I physically hit him because his words were so degrading and belittling. I should not have reacted this way but his verbal abuse is hard to deal with. I am just so beside myself because every time this happens I keep going back.
You have to ask yourself why you go back... we couldn't answer that for you. Could be fear, money, hope for change, low self esteem...
Sorry if I sound blunt here but you're so beautiful, caring and smart.. you wouldn't have a problem starting a new realationship with a really wonderful man. Do you realize that?
