Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
OK, here's mine:
"Life is like a box of chocolates, (name). You never know what you're gonna get."
I can't guess your's Fortress, darn.
Rockin, Yours is Forest Gump.
How about " I feel the need, the need for Speed. "
Sorry Joanie, no idea :(
How about: "Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed..."
Got the idea from Fortresses post about Color of Money, Tom Cruise.
Old Movie, Top Gun.
Hmmm, on yours, it sounds like something from an older black and white romance film like Bogart and Bacall, but I just have no idea.
Any more ideas? :)
So tempted to Google but I wont. ahhh
It really is a tragic movie in ways.
I have never seen The Color of Money, I do know there is a famous line from it that Tom Cruise says to his love interest but I can't think of it?
I am normally not a Cruise fan, but I really did like the movie, The Last Samurai. At the very end, there is a line by the narrator that I love. I had to Google it to be sure I quoted it right though.
"Simon Graham [closing narration]: And so the days of the Samurai had ended. Nations, like men, it is sometimes said, have their own destiny. As for the American Captain, no one knows what became of him. Some say that he died of his wounds. Others, that he returned to his own country. But I like to think he may have at last found some small measure of peace, that we all seek, and few of us ever find."
Mine was from "Four Weddings And A Funeral", Andie MacDowell to Hugh Grant, during the super-cheesy kissing in the rain scene at the end... at which I always simultaneously "aww" and LOL! ;)
Hmm...fortress, I can't think at the moment :/
Sounds like something Shirley Mclaine would say..or the gal that played in Misery by Stephen King, darn can't think of her name?
If it's Shirley, gonna guess, The movie with Julia Roberts where she gets married, has cancer and they are all southern, all have pepto bismo pink dresses.
If its the other gal, gonna say Fried Green Tomatoes.
