Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

challenging to find
the right option.
Have you been in touch
with your local center?
If not, here are two
numbers for your
state's coalition:
Statewide Helpline: 1-800-MD-HELPS
(Phone) 301-429-3601
Also, here's a web-page
with information about
local centers:
http://mnadv.org/find-help/find-your-local-program/
Please give them a try.
They're there to help.
I certainly understand how
you feel like the deck is
stacked against people
caught in the web of
abuse.
Even given what feels
like overwhelming odds
against you, if you end
up giving up, you're
guaranteed to spend
too much of your life
being abused. If you
continue reaching for
a way out, even if you
allot the barest minimum
of energy for the effort,
at some point, you
WILL get out. Many
of us here, have.
It can take time,
but when it finally
comes to pass. . . .
most of us decide
it really was worth it.
Even if you've called
your state's coalition
already and feel like
you haven't gotten
helped, TRY AGAIN!
Also, I don't know what
county you're in, but
here's the webpage
for your state's
social services.
Someone there
could be of help,
if you feel no one
else has.
Please don't give up.
An abuse-free life
is worth fighting for.
