You are right that there is no evidence but the documentaries about Scientology indicate that it is a very controlling religion and Tom was very high up in it.

Interviews with him indicate to me that he is arrogant at the least. Personally I find that he reminds me of my ex a lot. I get the impression that he is very narcissistic - often a feature of cult leaders (of which he arguably is one).

His adopted children Connor and Isabella who are also Scientologists reportedly have little to no contact with Nicole Kidman.

To me, the fact that Katie has filed for sole custody tells a lot. She wouldn't have done that if she believed Tom to be a good/safe parent. I think she fears that she will be cut out of Suri's life as Nicole has been with her adopted children.

Asking for sole custody of Suri says a lot. It means Katie can raise Suri Without Scientology, a very cult-y religion. I hope that Katie can keep Suri and get the divorce with as little hassle as possible. Going up against Tom is a huge battle...

with tom cruiz money, I don't think Katie will win, it will be joint custody.

Personally, I've always been suspicious about Tom Cruise, just from his pictures. I know you can't tell that much from a picture, but he always looks so IDK, narcissistic in his pictures--and he's never paying attention to the women in his life, in the pictures--I can imagine him whispering to them through gritted teeth, "smile! Smile like me--look happy." And they never really look that happy. I really like Penelope Cruz and I noticed a big difference between the pictures of her with her new husband Javier, and the old pictures of her with Cruise.

I think Nicole got joint custody, and I got to tell you what I thought all the time, her prenump said they had to be married a certain number of years, and he was trying to get out of paying her, but then...................
she called him from hospital and said she just lost the baby she was carrying, Tom Cruize - the father, and all of a sudder, Tom did not give her anymore trouble.

Rumers are that is is unable to get a woman pregnant, I thought something of that, when they adopted 2 kids very very shortly after
nicole and him got married, I mean why so soon?...As for Katies baby, I cannot say, but with Nicoles kids, I think he cannot father a kid, at least at that time.

I've always watched Katie Holmes and when she met Tom she was very happy and was very up front about it. Being in a controlling relationship myself , well past tense, I was able to see how she slowly became a shell of her once very happy, giddy self. She no longer spoke as he did all the speaking, she didn't smile anymore and she walked with her head down. Red flags were everywhere and I wondered for years if I was just making it up or if I was really noticing his control from such a distance. I wondered just how long it would take her to leave....oh and she always said she wanted more children, however, she did not have anymore with Tom. Pictures are worth a thousand words and if you see years of video and pictures you have a million words.
