Immediately after I posted Saturday's Howl
I realized that I'd already been late, even then,
noting thoughts and prayers sent around the
world to the victims of the disasters in Japan.

Over the weekend, on top of the quake and
tsunami, now there are nuclear power plant
dangers.

All my thoughts and prayers for recovery
and healing, go out to the people suffering
from last week's events.

Thank you for posting this, Ilene. I believe that thoughts, prayers, petitions, and the sending of love & light &/or healing energy is something we can all do and I truly believe it helps both our fellow human beings and the earth itself. Let's all keep this post going.

Yes, I thank you too, Ilene. This disaster, tragedy has been compelling. The sheer scope of it defies human understanding. I too, send out all my prayers, love, and light to the people of Japan, and their loved ones around the world. In searching for ways to help, this is certainly a start.

I send my prayers and thoughts to the people of Japan for what they have endured, are enduring now and will endure in the future. It scares me how unprepared we all are when something of this magnitude happens. Thanks for posting this llene and hugs.

This evening as I listened to the national news broadcast, I had tears in my eyes as the people who were washed out to sea all came back to shore. Some had lived through it, miraculously. And to see the family looking for loved ones made me cry like a baby. Gosh what an experience to live with. May God help them all.

There was a family at the mall today collecting some money to help offset some of the disaster victims so I gave as much as I could. Red Cross is sending people over to assist in helping rebuild in some way.

I pray for all of them to get through this awful time. Godspeed.

To be honest, my thoughts about the tsunami were fixed totally on my stepson who lives on the Oregon coast. His school sits in a sort of basin which puts him at merely feet above sea level during school hours. My heart was so full of worry for him that I had no room to think of anyone somewhere else. He's fine now. He was evacuated by 5 am from his home and sent to higher ground.
They are trying right now to declare a state of emergency there.
Some prayers and love for people who lost their livelihood along the west coast would be appreciated too.

My heart now goes out to those suffering the devastation in Japan.
