Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.
My ex-emotional abuser, who I have had no contact with for

I never understand these men why can't they find something better to do? Like go play in a busy street?
Somewhere he must have heard that you accused him of being an abuser. That is a scare tatic by him to scare you. As Bebo said, ignore it, never mention it where it could get back to him.
