How is it not enough to have a stalking, harassing, life-threatening abusive parent? The other parent has to yell at you every time you try to express what is happening? I don't know, sometimes they are supportive/helpful. That makes it hurt so much MORE though when they are so emotionally abusive when I am just trying to explain what is happening. It's not enough that they utterly fail to protect me: they have to act like it is something that will just disappear if they get angry at me and blame me? (me who hides in my room foregoing food, etc. and is only ever kind and cheerful while rushing past the abusive parent) How can anyone bear all of this emotionally? I feel like I'm in a coffin screaming and listlessly kicking, except there is no voice coming out. (That is how the non-abusive parent makes me feel over and over and over.) I feel so broken, like I live in such a sick, ridiculous nightmare. I don't even know if I want to try to get away again. There is so much abuse among my relatives and family and with so many others out there in the world too, in some ways worse than here. I just want to stay in my room, curled up in a ball, self-soothing, forever...
